Job Description

As a Security Professional - CRE Unarmed Patrol Full-Time in Nottingham, MD , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a commercial real estate location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence throughout the property. This is a driving post, so you will use your skills to navigate the premises and respond quickly to situations as needed. You will also deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with tenants and visitors, and uphold our values of integrity, teamwork, and putting people first. What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and tenants by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergency situations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing training and site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and / or client contacts as required.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted activity and provide reassurance to those at the location.
  • Complete required documentation and logs related to patrols, incidents, and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and helping to enforce site-specific policies.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • At least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
