Location : Remote / Onsite as needed Employment Type : Full-Time Salary : 90k annual salary plus benefits to be provided under separate cover.

Job Title : Junior Data Scientist

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Data Scientist to join our growing data team. This role is ideal for someone with experience in PDF data extraction, hands-on exposure to AWS, and a strong interest or working knowledge of Large Language Models (LLMs). You will contribute to building intelligent data workflows and support document processing initiatives that drive business insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain pipelines for extracting structured data from PDF documents using tools like PyPDF2, PDFMiner, or similar
• Assist in cleaning, transforming, and analyzing data for reporting and modeling
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to understand data needs and deliver actionable insights
• Work with AWS services (e.g., S3, Lambda, EC2, Glue) to deploy and manage data workflows
• Apply LLMs for tasks such as document classification, summarization, and field mapping
• Document processes and contribute to improving data extraction accuracy and efficiency
