Job Description
Identify and develop new business opportunities across key manufacturing and OEM markets. Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers, providing tailored coating and finishing solutions. Conduct outbound prospecting and lead generation, including research, cold calling, and networking. Manage existing house accounts while focusing primarily on new customer acquisition. Collaborate closely with plant and operations teams to ensure customer needs are met efficiently. Develop quotes and proposals, negotiate pricing and contracts, and oversee the sales process from lead to close. Stay informed on industry trends, competitors, and potential growth sectors within coatings and surface finishing. Provide regular updates and performance reports to management.

The Successful Applicant
A successful Technical Sales Representative should have : 5+ years of experience in sales within manufacturing, industrial services, or coatings / finishing sectors. A strong business development mindset and comfort with outbound prospecting and cold calling. Understanding of metal finishing, spray coating, powder coating, plating, or machining processes is highly preferred. A results-driven mindset with the ability to meet and exceed sales targets. Technical aptitude to understand and explain spray technology products. A desire to grow with a small but expanding business, taking ownership and playing a key role in future scaling efforts. A proactive and organized approach to managing multiple clients and projects.
