Primary Responsibilities
The primary duties of a Distribution Electrical Engineer include preparation of engineering drawings, calculations, analyses, reports and designs for distribution overhead and underground lines, performing load flow analysis, and coordination studies. This Engineer will be seen as the Lead Engineer for projects, and the subject matter expert in their area of expertise. They will create full design packages across many different projects : Infrastructure, Renewables, Industrial, etc. They will also be expected to mentor newer EIT's to grow their careers and capabilities.
