Account Manager

NTT DATA is seeking a dedicated Account Manager to serve as the primary liaison for a large State & Local customer. This key staff position requires full-time commitment and senior-level engagement to ensure seamless coordination, issue resolution, and strategic communication across all contract activities.

Key responsibilities include :

  • Serving as the senior manager and primary point of contact for all contract-related services and communications with the customer.
  • Leading day-to-day coordination and resolution of contract activities, ensuring timely and effective delivery.
  • Representing customer concerns to NTT DATA's executive and operational leadership.
  • Participating in all contract-related workgroups initiated by the customer or NTT DATA.
  • Maintaining 24 / 7 / 365 availability, including designated backup coverage, to support contract operations.

Basic qualifications include :

  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing government accounts or in a government sales role.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in leading day-to-day activities and project delivery.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the telecommunications industry.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across all organizational levels.
  • Preferred qualifications include :

  • Experience managing complex government contracts and service delivery.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive consensus.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution capabilities.
  • Proven knowledge of government business practices, including those specific to the State of Florida and its authorized users.
  • Familiarity with State of Florida program goals, operational standards, and reporting requirements.
