Prepares food items by cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing sauces Cooks food items by grilling, frying, sautéing, and other cooking methods to specified recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and complies with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage. Cleans and sanitizes cooking surfaces at the end of the shift. Performs inventory checks and completes food storage logs. Exceptional communication skills- the ability to communicate clearly with the Chefs or highest management on the line. Other duties as assigned Must be 18 years of age or older 6 months or more of line cook experience preferred Prolonged periods of walking or standing. Tribute Eatery & Bar in Coralville is hiring full-time and part-time experienced Line Cooks to join our team!
We’re passionate about creating an upbeat, fun environment while maintaining the highest standards in cleanliness, quality, and service.
If you’re dependable, detail-oriented, and eager to grow in a fast-paced kitchen, we want to hear from you!
Starting Pay for Line Cooks : $15-$22 per hour based on experience.
Schedule : Full or part-time. Shifts are anywhere from 4-8 hours depending on your availability.
Full-time Benefits : Available for all full-time employees who work on average 30 hours per week or more.
- Paid Time Off- 2 weeks (10 days) of PTO and up based on tenure
