Elliot is a full-service electrical contractor specializing in overhead and underground distribution, transmission, substations, lighting, traffic signaling, utility locating, and industrial / commercial services.
Job Description
46Solutions is a division of Davis H. Elliot Company, specializing in IT services, consulting, Cyber Security, and Audio / Video integration services. 46Solutions is seeking the following :
The A / V Consultant and Lighting Specialist develops relationships with current and potential clients, architects, designers, home builders, realtors, and other industry stakeholders to facilitate the sale of integrated system design and installation services, and obtains expertise in both window coverings and lighting systems. This individual also works with project managers, designers, technicians, and administrative staff to build rapport with clients and maintain high levels of client satisfaction.
Essential Functions
- Develops a strong understanding of audio / video, networking, lighting, motorized window treatment, video surveillance, and automation systems
- Meets or exceeds sales goals
- Negotiates contracts with prospective clients
- Attends regular trainings for lighting and window treatment products
- Works with Systems Manager to present contracts to prospective clients
- Prepares weekly and monthly reports
- Regularly attends networking events as a representative of 46Solutions
- Gives sales presentations to prospective clients
- Visits clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services
- Works with Operations Coordinator and submits sales contracts for payment and ordering
- Maintains client records
- Answers client questions about credit terms, products, prices, and availability
- Performs other related duties as assigned

Minimum of four years of low voltage integrated systems work experience preferredPrevious experience selling window treatments and lighting requiredProficiency in d-tools and MS Office with expertise in Outlook Word, PowerPoint, and Excel preferredMinimum of a high school diploma required : post-secondary degree or certification preferredIndustry recognized (CEDIA, AVIXA, manufacturer, etc.) credentials preferredBenefits / Culture
