This facility is a well-established hospital with a comprehensive oncology department serving the Worcester community. The center provides high-quality cancer care with a multidisciplinary approach, featuring modern treatment technologies and a supportive team environment.

Opportunity :

Board Certified - Oncology-Hematology

Job Details :

• 6-12 month commitment starting January, with ability to work at least 3-4 days per week
• Monday through Friday clinic schedule (3-5 days per week) with clinic call responsibilities
• Outpatient clinic setting seeing 15-18 patients per day
• Inpatient rounding required on approximately 5 patients, taking about 1 hour
• On-call responsibilities via beeper with approximately 10 calls during on-call periods
• Call-backs to hospital are rare
• EMR systems : Onco EMR (clinic) and Cerner (hospital)
• Must be board certified in Oncology-Hematology
• Active Massachusetts medical license required (preferred with clean record)
• Temporary privileges available for physicians with clean records
• Credentialing timeframe : approximately 8 weeks with clean record (90 days with issues)
• Will work with an NP in the practice (no supervision required)
• No teaching or resident supervision responsibilities
• No surgical procedures required
