Job Summary

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) , you will play a vital role in providing professional nursing care for residents of all ages in long-term care settings. Under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician, you will :

Demonstrate knowledge of nursing principles tailored to the clinical setting.
Utilize your full scope of nursing expertise to meet the physical and psychosocial needs of residents.
Perform assessments and administer medications or treatments as ordered.
Document resident interactions and care outcomes effectively.
Establish and maintain strong working relationships with residents, healthcare providers, and the public.
Communicate clearly while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
Counsel residents and families on prevention and treatment plans.
Engage in other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

To thrive in this role, you should meet the following qualifications :

Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse; an Associate degree is preferred.

If required, possess IV therapy / management skills as per North Dakota regulations.

Be at least 18 years of age.

Have completed a pre-licensure nursing program with supervised clinical experience or have a minimum of 400 hours of LPN experience.

Hold an unencumbered LPN license with the State Nursing Board and maintain required competencies and certifications.

Complete annual continuing education units (CEUs) and competency training as required.
