Overview

Director of Sales – High-Growth B2B SaaS Startup at Initio Capital

Location : San Francisco, CA (On-site, Jackson Square)

Type : Full-time

Visa Sponsorship : Available

Base Salary : $200K – $250K + Significant Equity

Role Summary : We are seeking a dynamic, hands-on Director of Sales to join one of the fastest-growing startups in the venture-backed ecosystem. This is a rare opportunity to lead and scale a high-velocity sales organization during a period of hyper-growth, working directly with the founding team to drive aggressive revenue targets and expand into new markets.

Responsibilities

  • Partner directly with the founders to scale the sales organization through rapid growth.
  • Drive significant revenue growth across current and future verticals.
  • Recruit, hire, and mentor a team of high-performing sales leaders.
  • Lead from the front—actively participating in key deals, coaching sales managers, and refining outbound motions.
  • Build scalable sales processes, forecasting systems, and performance frameworks to support long-term growth.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of sales leadership experience, with at least 1 year managing sales managers.
  • Proven success in B2B or SaaS startups with strong outbound sales motions.
  • Comfortable being hands-on and in the trenches while also building scalable systems.
  • Experience driving measurable growth in a high-velocity go-to-market environment.
  • Willing and able to work on-site in San Francisco 5 days / week (relocation support available).
