Description

Crossroads Animal Emergency is looking for an Overnight Manager with experience in doctors assisting, veterinary nursing, and customer service to join us as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community.

As an Overnight Manager, you’ll play an important role in ensuring continuity in hospital operations. Your life-changing work will range from the hands-on care of facilitating patient treatments and providing treatment plans, to administrative duties.

  • Veterinary medicine experience required

Role Responsibilities :

Leading with Your Head

Understanding business, solving problems, and making decisions through inclusive contributions of others

  • Ensuring follow-through from team members in day-to-day operations as well as performance goals.
  • Supporting team members in every role to increase productivity
  • Address and / or work alongside Practice Manager to address any issues that may impact on the productivity of workflow.
  • Assist with inventory and purchasing as needed to support hospital
  • Assist with administrative tasks as needed to support hospital
  • Leading with Your Heart

    Interpersonal aspect of leading with Emotional Intelligence (EQ), effective use of influence, working together constructively and creatively

  • Coaching team members on improvement of performance
  • Asist Practice Manager in creating an environment where a team can deliver quality, efficient and effective veterinary care to pets
  • Address conflicts throughout the shift with empathy and tack.
  • Leading With Your Hands

    The art of bringing people together to leverage their skills, talents, and knowledge to achieve a common purpose with greater results

  • Coaching team members with new skills as well as helping develop existing skills
  • Creating and implementing new protocols to uphold quality medicine
  • Assist in creating a positive work environment.
  • Experience & Skills Requirements :

  • 1 -2 years of leadership experience
  • 5+ years of veterinary medicine experience
  • RVT strongly preferred
  • Veterinary Controlled Substance License
  • Ability to demonstrate patience and composure in stressful situations, and ability to handle a fast-paced environment
  • Critical thinking skills and a positive attitude

    Compensation negotiable based on credentials and experience with a hourly pay rate starting at $30 - $34 / hour. The actual rate offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
