Reporting to the Board of Directors, the General Manager serves as the chief executive officer of Marin Transit. The GM oversees all aspects of the Districts activities, including :

The annual salary range for the General Manager is $250,000$290,000 depending on qualifications. Marin Transit employees are at-will and receive a comprehensive benefits package, including a defined contribution retirement plan with an employer contribution of 1015% based on years of service. Benefits for the General Manager may be negotiable.
