Security Officer Front Desk Manufacturing Driver

As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will be the welcoming presence for visitors and employees, helping to maintain a secure environment. Your role involves monitoring access, responding to security-related situations, and delivering outstanding customer service while utilizing technology such as alarm panels and computers. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license in the job state is required. Pay Rate : $19.16 / Hour

Job Schedule :

DayTimeSat07 : 00 AM - 07 : 00 PMSun07 : 00 AM - 07 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Greet and assist employees, visitors, and / or contractors at the front desk, providing a professional and courteous experience.
  • Monitor access to the location, verifying credentials and managing visitor logs according to site-specific policies.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Communicate security-related information to appropriate personnel and / or emergency responders as needed.
  • Support security-related procedures and site-specific policies for the manufacturing and industrial environment.
  • Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, maintaining composure and professionalism throughout.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of security-related activities, incidents, and / or unusual occurrences at the front desk.

  • Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
