Job Description :

The OR RN will primarily support Open Heart Surgery cases and must be able to scrub independently for Cardiac / Open Heart procedures. The nurse will also function in a circulator role and may be assigned to other specialties such as :

Urology / GYN / Dental / Robotic / Plastics / ENT

General / Vascular / Thoracic / Pulmonary

Orthopedic / Pain / Podiatry

Call Requirements :

Required and self-scheduled within a small Open-Heart team

Weeknights : End of shift – 06 : 30 AM (Mon–Fri)

Weekends : 06 : 30 AM – 06 : 30 AM (Sat–Sun)

Call will be at the Belleville campus only

Requirements :

Minimum 2 years of experience

CVOR experience required; General OR / Hybrid OR preferred

Must be able to scrub independently for cardiac cases

EPIC experience required

First-time travelers accepted

BLS required, ACLS preferred

Locals not accepted (must live 75+ miles away)

No pending license accepted
