Key Responsibilities of the Collections Specialist :

Manage a portfolio of past-due consumer accounts

Conduct outbound collection calls and manage inbound inquiries

Utilize skip tracing tools and resources to locate hard-to-reach customers

Negotiate payment arrangements and settlements in line with company guidelines

Accurately document all account activity in the system

Collaborate with team members and management to achieve collection goals

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local collection laws
