The Medical / Surgical / Telemetry department staffing consists of RNs, LPNs and Patient Care techs.

The surgical and medical care teams are dedicated to the care of the patients. The majority of the surgical procedures seen in this care center includes, but is not limited to, gastrointestinal, gynecological, orthopedic and general surgery procedures. The medical diagnosis of our patients include, but are not limited to, sickle cell disease, diabetes, COPD, dehydration, pneumonia, ESRD, and symptom management.

The Telemetry Unit is dedicated to the care of the patients despite the treatment modality. However, our teams care for a broad spectrum of patients, many with chronic or terminal illness. The usual diagnosis of our patients include, but are not limited to, CVA, TIA, Alzheimer's Parkinson, multiple sclerosis, stable cardiac, diabetes, COPD, asthma, CHF, dehydration, syncope, pneumonia, TB, seizures, migraines, altered mental status, and GI bleed. The Telemetry Unit has a 12-bed capacity, with telemetry monitoring available.

The LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) delivers safe and efficient care to patients using nursing interventions. The LPN is responsible for general clinical and clerical duties associated with direct and indirect patient care.
