Must-Have :

Candidates without the following skills will not be considered for the role :

One year of full-time active pre-hospital care or equivalent.

Must be over 21 years old.

Two years of satisfactory driving experience to meet established insurance guidelines.

Description :

General comments about the unit :

The unit operates 14 trucks at peak times with a staff of 110.

Staffing includes day shift, mid-shift, and night shift personnel.

Patient ratios consist of one patient per transport.

All service levels are provided including wheelchair, Behavioral Health, BLS, ALS, and Critical Care.

Equipment utilized includes Zoll Cardiac Monitors and Baxter & Alaris IV Pumps.

Typical procedures performed on the unit include IV insertion and medication administration.

A flexible and friendly personality is preferred for candidates.

Floating areas include Behavioral Health Transport.

Candidates may also work in wheelchair or BLS vans depending on scheduled transports and staffing needs.

Uniforms are provided for all staff.

One weekend per month is scheduled as part of the shift requirements.
