About The Position

Job Title : Procedural Registered Nurse

Profession : Registered Nurse

Hours per Shift : 10 hours

Experience : Minimum 2 years required

License : Compact or state license required

Certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS

Must-Have :

• Experience with bronchoscopy and ERCP
• Conscious sedation experience
• Telemetry experience
• Ability to assist endoscopy technician
• Experience in a procedural setting

Description :

Procedural RN position available.

Procedure call required with a 1-hour response time to the bedside from the time of call.

Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience.

First-time travelers are not eligible.

Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS are mandatory.

Experience with bronchoscopy and ERCP is required.

Conscious sedation experience is required.

Telemetry experience is required.

Ability to assist an endoscopy technician is strongly preferred.

Will float between facilities on occasion.

Call burden is equally split among staff members.

Weekend and weekday call required.

Call includes off hours such as after hours, weekends, and holidays.

Must be prepared to work some weekends and holidays based on department needs.

Local candidates within a 75-mile radius are not accepted.

No time off requests will be accepted from November 15 to January 2.

Compliance requirements include BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and several procedural exams.

Candidates will float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals.

Rehire eligibility checks are conducted every Friday.

Candidates with license hits will have their submission rejected.

Experience outside of typical circulating duties is required.
