Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Emergency Medicine Physicians (MD / DO) for an ongoing locum tenens assignment at a high-volume, modern emergency department in Corbin, Kentucky .

This opportunity offers long-term, flexible scheduling with temp privileges available and a collaborative, well-supported clinical environment. Family Medicine and Internal Medicine-trained physicians with emergency experience are encouraged to apply!

Trauma Designation : Level II

Shift Options :

Day : 7 : 00 AM – 7 : 00 PM

Mid : 2 : 00 PM – 2 : 00 AM

Night : 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM

Shift Requirement : 10–15 shifts per month preferred | Long-term need

Patients Per Hour : Target 2 PPH

Bed Count : ED1 – 17 beds | ED2 – 12 beds

APP Support : 8a–8p, 10a–10p, 11a–11p, 10p–8a

EMR : Epic

Admitting Orders : No admitting orders required

Travel & Lodging : Provided

Position Overview

Provide comprehensive emergency care in a busy, high-acuity ED

Collaborate with APPs and a multidisciplinary team

Flexible schedule options across day, mid, and night shifts

No responsibility for inpatient admitting orders

Respond to trauma cases and emergency codes

Candidate Requirements

Licensure : Active Kentucky Medical License & Unrestricted DEA

Board Certification : ABEM, ABFM, or ABIM (must achieve BC within 5 years of graduation)

Certifications : ACLS, ATLS, PALS

Experience : Minimum of 1 year in emergency medicine or comparable high-acuity settings

Temp Privileges : Available for qualified candidates
