The Health Center Association of Nebraska (HCAN) is actively recruiting a Dentist to join our Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Hastings, Nebraska, where you will provide high-quality, patient-centered dental care for all. Utilizing an integrated care approach, our providers work collaboratively to address all aspects of patients’ health and believe that exceptional, compassionate care should be accessible and affordable for all. Medical, dental, behavioral health, and outreach services are coordinated to ensure well-rounded, comprehensive care.

Y our Role :
Provide complete dental care to patients to include preventive care, education, and required dental treatmentRecord patient-dentist transactions as they occur in the patient’s dental recordEducate patients in the general promotion of oral health related disease preventionObserve and provide guidance to dental students who are performing services at the health centerCollaborate with an interdisciplinary team to improve health outcomesProvide professional perspective and direction in development of the dental care plan and strategic plan for the health centerWhat We Are Looking For :
Graduate of an accredited school of dentistry with an unrestricted license to practice dentistry in the state of NebraskaKnowledge of public health principles and practices is preferredDemonstrated professional commitment to providing services to medically under-served individualsAbility to foster strong patient-provider relationshipsAbility to effectively communicate both spoken and in writingMinimum of two years of clinical experience preferredLocation Perks :
