Must-Have :

Graduate of a Radiology Technology School

Fluoroscopy experience

IR and special procedure experience

Ultrasound experience preferred

Description :

The Interventional Radiology / Vascular Technician will work with IR and neuro patients.

Call is required once every three weekdays.

Weekend coverage is required every third weekend.

Holiday rotation is part of the responsibilities.

The role involves accessing and managing ports, performing angioplasty, and conducting carotid angiography.

It also includes stenting, catheter / drain exchange, and central venous access procedures.

Chest tube placement and dialysis graft interventions are required tasks.

The technician will be involved in embolization procedures and endovascular interventions.

They will perform internventional radiology procedures and isolation precautions.

The role requires preparation of access sites and recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias.

Candidates should have experience in using rapid response and code teams.

The technician will maintain sterile fields and assist with various special procedures.

Floating within the hospital may be necessary as required by the specialty.

Candidates must provide references from previous supervisors.

Compliance with necessary certification standards is mandatory.
