Java eTrading Consultant

Overview

Our client, a major bank in New York City, is looking for a hands-on Java Developer Consultant (hybrid commute 2 / 3 days office / home).

This is a 6 months contract with possible extensions or option to hire.

Must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the US - NO H1 Visa support for this role

Rate : $100-127 / h on W2 DOE, possible C2C as well.

Sr Java Developer / Lead Position

We are starting up a new rates electronic trading business and we are looking for an experienced Java developer to join this effort. This is a unique opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a greenfield development project to design and develop a low-latency, electronic trading platform for US rates.

In this role, you will work directly with trading and quantitative teams to build and deliver new trading capabilities and services leveraging modern technologies and architectures.

Duties

• Hands on Senior Java Developer with over 6 years of enterprise development experience.
• Server-side Java (Java 11+ with multithreading and Low latency)
• CI / CD pipelines and processes
• Middleware / messaging concepts
• Deployment / runtime server knowledge
• Work with multiple business lines and on occasion manage small projects.
• "FI electronic Trading improvements"
• Work with traders and front office teams to deliver solutions for electronic trading.
