job_description.job_card.job_descriptionProvide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the building and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or address concerns as needed. Working environments and conditions may vary by location within the tech, media, or telecom sector. Report observations and / or incidents according to post orders and Allied Universal guidelines. Communicate professionally with visitors, employees, and Allied Universal management as required. Remain alert to unusual activities or conditions and notify appropriate personnel as necessary. Support access control procedures and monitor entry and exit points as directed. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Be at least 21 years of age. Access control and / or badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Security Professional - Patrol Unarmed Tech Facility
As a Security Professional - Patrol Unarmed Tech Facility in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom, and more.
As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. Your presence and proactive approach support a culture of care and teamwork, while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. By remaining visible and approachable, you help foster a welcoming atmosphere that reflects Allied Universal's values of agility, reliability, and integrity.

What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
