About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Shift : 7 : 00 PM - 7 : 30 AM

Hours per Shift : 12.5 hours

Experience : 3+ years in PCU, Med / Surg, and Telemetry required

License : New Hampshire Temporary Health Care Service Agency License / Registration Certificate required

Certifications : ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA)

Must-Have : Experience in a Medical / Surgical setting with cardiac monitoring

Description :

NOTE OCTOBER START DATE. THIS START IS FIRM.

For holiday coverage, travelers are required to work two of the following :

Thanksgiving and the Friday / weekend after.

Christmas Eve / Christmas Day and the Friday / weekend after.

New Year Eve / New Year Day and the Friday / weekend after.

Extensions that are requested to end in November or before the holiday starts in December will not be considered for an extension at the beginning of the following year.

Experience in the Medical / Surgical setting with cardiac monitoring is required.

This unit is very small, and rural experience is preferred.

Candidates must be able to work independently and hit the ground running.

Dress code is personal scrubs of any color.

The patient population ranges from newborn to geriatric.

The RN / patient ratio is typically 5 : 1, depending on acuity.

Higher acuity PCU patients would be 3 : 1 or 4 : 1.

This applies to both day and night shifts.

Requested time off during the course of this assignment must be noted and verified at upload.

Requests for time off after upload will not be approved.

Five days or less of requested time off will be approved for a 13-week assignment.

There is no non-billable orientation available.

Weekend coverage is required every other weekend and for holidays.

Travelers must have their own vehicle for this assignment.

Any and all requested time off must be included in the profile.

All scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission.

The facility will not approve scheduling requests after the time of offer.

Please obtain this information prior to submittal.

Requests after the offer may lead to rescinded offers.
