Dean's Professional Services is now hiring a qualified, Outpatient Registered Nurse to work for a Hospital Facility in Texas Gulf Coast with occasional travel to Angleton, TX and Alvin, TX.
The Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing high-quality patient care in an outpatient or ambulatory setting. This role involves supporting patients through recovery from procedures or treatments, coordinating care within an interdisciplinary team, and educating patients on home care and health management.
Note : Due to providing care within male patient units and facility needs, male candidates are preferred.
Job Responsibilities :
- Deliver nursing care to individuals with mental illness, substance use issues, and dual diagnoses.
- Coordinate nursing activities within the interdisciplinary team using the nursing process.
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, perform diagnostic tests, and administer medications as prescribed.
- Educate patients and families on medication management, treatment plans, and post-care instructions.
- Lead or assist in group education sessions covering various health-related topics.
- Document all nursing care, assessments, and patient interactions accurately and promptly.
- Implement appropriate nursing interventions following established policies and procedures.
- Maintain open communication with supervisors, physicians, and care coordination teams to ensure continuity of care.
- Adhere to all ethical, legal, and professional standards as outlined in the organization's code of conduct and compliance plan.
Job Requirements :
High school diploma or equivalent required.Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas required.Minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare environment preferred.Willing to travel to Angleton and Alvin, TX as needed based on hospital requirements.Strong communication, organizational, and clinical assessment skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining professionalism and empathy.Commitment to providing patient-centered care and promoting positive health outcomes.Job Details :
