job_description.job_card.job_descriptionWork in an adult acute care hospital setting with a focus on orthopedics, neurological, cardiovascular, and post-surgical care Typical cases include orthopedic (TJR, fracture management, amputation, multi-trauma), neurological (CVA, brain injury, SCI), cardiovascular (post-CABG / open heart, valve repairs, pacemakers), and general med / surg debility Day shifts, Monday through Friday from 8 : 30am to 5 : 00pm No weekends, no call, and no floating required Work with Level 1 trauma patient population Epic is used for documentation and charting; experience required Role involves providing physical therapy care to adult patients across multiple acute care disciplines Allied staff may be required to complete specialty-specific pre-start modules AHA certifications preferred Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travel Returning core staff must wait 12 months before returning Maximum of 5 days of requested time off (RTO) allowed per assignment Returning traveler status must be verified through HR Active Michigan PTA license required if applicable Current BLS certification required At least 1 year of recent experience as a PTA in an acute care setting Epic experience required Proof of high school education is required regardless of additional education Level 1 trauma experience required First-time travelers will be considered High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts
