Commercial Litigation Attorney

About the Role

Prominent Chicago Law Firm with a powerhouse litigation bench seeks an Associate Attorney with 1-5 years of experience in all facets of complex commercial litigation. Candidates must have experience drafting and responding to pleadings, handling substantive / dispositive motion practice, managing extensive written and oral discovery, preparing for trial / mediation / arbitration, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. AmLaw 200 or Elite Litigation Boutique experience is required, as well as top law school academics. Federal Clerkship experience a plus but not required.

Requirements

• Law Degree from an ABA-approved Law School
• Active license to practice law in Illinois (or eligibility to waive in)
• At least one year of post-JD experience practicing complex commercial litigation in a law firm setting
