Get to Know Your Team :

UT Health Athens is a 127-bed facility, including a 24-hour ED, designated as a Level IV trauma center and Level III stroke center; advanced diagnostic technology; 10-bed ICU; maternity unit radiation therapy center; and a stand-alone ED in Gun Barrel City.

Responsibilities

Performs all procedures relevant to breast imaging.

A comprehensive approach to breast health is utilized in accordance with departmental policy at the three sites of service. These include the Breast Care Center, off-site screening mammography service, and the mobile mammography van.

Participates in required technical and program continuous quality improvement activities and

demonstrates exceptional patient service skills.

Qualifications

Job Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent

Graduate of an approved school of radiologic technology

Two year as a Radiologic technologist

One year as a mammography technologist

Currently certified AART and Texas Department of Health

Certified in mammography

CPR certified

Preferred Job Requirements

Mobile mammography experience
