CNA Day Shift Responsibilities

Provide daily hands-on care : bathing, dressing, grooming, repositioning, feeding, and more

Interact positively with residents, families, and team members

Observe and immediately report changes in resident health to the supervising nurse

Record food / fluid intake and daily activities accurately

Maintain clean, comfortable, and safe resident environments

Promote dignity, safety, and respect in all interactions

Transport residents within the facility as needed

Support nurses and peers as a vital team member

Adhere to all facility, state, and federal policies and procedures

Maintain confidentiality and uphold resident rights

Requirements

Current, valid CNA certification in Ohio

CPR and First Aid certifications preferred

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Strong teamwork and adaptability

Alert problem-solving and attention to detail

Physical stamina for an active day shift role

Experience in healthcare settings preferred
