As a Security Officer - Healthcare Campus Patrol in Federal Way, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned healthcare areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors and staff. Pay Rate : $23.76 / Hour

Job Schedule : Day Time

Monday 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Thursday 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Friday 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Saturday 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Sunday 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a healthcare environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing de-escalation techniques when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain site-specific protocols.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences to Allied Universal management and / or site representatives as required.
  • Assist with emergency response activities according to site procedures, which may include guiding individuals to designated areas or supporting first responders.
  • Provide visible presence throughout the healthcare location to help to deter potential incidents and offer reassurance to staff, patients, and visitors.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
