Basic Job Functions

Responsibilities of the Accountant may include but are not limited to :

• General ledger accounting
• Corporate, Tax and Divisional Reporting
• Assisting in the internal and external audit processes
• Maintaining and continuously improving internal controls
• Working closely with all department to analyze and evaluate departmental costs and drive continuous improvement across all aspects of the business
• Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field

4+ years accounting related experience

Preferred Qualifications

MBA, CPA or CMA

Experience in Manufacturing
