We are looking for a Customer Service Associate / Delivery Driver to provide excellent customer service for our business and distribute products promptly to our customers. You will represent our company in a professional and cost-effective manner to increase our profitability and customer satisfaction. Candidates with strong communication skills who can make customers feel welcome in our store will stand out. You will help identify client needs, present and answer questions about our products and services and recommend solutions. A positive attitude and a desire to promptly resolve potential customer issues or complaints will make you successful in this role. Ultimately, you will ensure that customers leave our store satisfied and you will contribute to the store's profitability.
Responsibilities
- Go the extra mile to engage customers
- Greet and direct customers
- Provide accurate information (e.g. product features, pricing and after-sales services)
- Answer customers' questions about specific products / services
- Conduct price and feature comparisons to facilitate purchasing
- Cross-sell products
- Ensure racks are fully stocked
- Manage returns of merchandise
- Coordinate with your team to provide excellent customer service (especially during peak times)
- Inform customers about discounts and special offers
- Provide customer feedback to the Store Manager
- Stay up-to-date with new products / services
- Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes
- Follow routes and time schedule
- Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle
- Ask for feedback on provided services and resolve clients' complaints
- Inform customers about new products and services
- Follow DOT regulations and safety standards
Requirements
Prior Outdoor Supply Industry ExperienceMust be comfortable working most of your shift on your feet and performing repetitive physical tasks, such as stooping, squatting, and lifting items above your headMust be comfortable operating and making deliveries on a daily route in an Isuzu NRR 650 or similar commercial vehicleCustomer orientation and ability to adapt / respond to different types of charactersAbility to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectivelyBasic math skillsBe able to lift 50-70 poundsExcellent communication skills, capable of building trusting relationshipsAbility to perform in fast-paced environmentsValid driver's licenseExcellent organizational and time management skillsGood driving record with no traffic violationsBonus Points
