Inventory Clerk

Job Title

Packages goods in accordance with customer and internal standards while maintaining inventory accuracy by performing the following duties.

Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Ensures inventory accuracy for products closing to stock or shipments leaving the facility.
• Reviews documentation to ensure the correct quantity is packaged.
• Prioritizes daily production orders and assists with product flow based on customer delivery dates, dock times, and pickups.
• Understands packaging standards and packaging technique cards.
• Validates product part marking corresponds with production order.
• Labels all product with item number, quantity, and batch number accurately.
• Communicates with other departments regarding special shipping needs, quantity discrepancies or available on-hand inventory.
• Stocks required material in workstation.
• Recognizes damaged material and relays information to the quality department.
• Packages goods in accordance with customer and internal standards.
• Reads and interprets reports.
• Ensures that document and digital data control is in compliance with AS9100 guidelines.
• Authorizes to stop any production order for quality concerns.
• Performs other similar or related duties as necessary.
• Keeps a clean and organized work area.
• Navigates a fast-paced environment with extreme accuracy and attention to detail.

Qualifications

Preferred Education / Experience :

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Previous manufacturing experience preferred.

Candidate must be able to climb stairs multiple times per day.
