The Company's cloud-based, SaaS platform enables dealerships to manage end-to-end business operations including acquisition, sale, financing, insuring, repair, and maintenance of vehicles, and to improve financial and operational performance.

Position Summary

The Account Development Executive – CDK Service / Fixed Ops drives top-line growth by forging relationships with customers who do not have a business relationship with CDK within a specific geographical area. Grows new market share through conquest sales, selling our CDK Service solutions to automotive dealerships. Works with channel partners to increase sales opportunities in CDK Strategic Products. Achieves annual assigned sales plan, under the guidance of the Director of Sales.

Territory Includes TX, OK, AR, MO, KS, Central to Southern IL, LA, MS – must live in territory to be considered.

Responsibilities & Essential Functions

  • Your objective is to drive top-line growth by closing new Service or Inventory business from targeted automotive dealers
  • Identify and define a growth strategy in the market for the business
  • Consistently exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets
  • Manage the sales process end to end, coordinating with internal teams to ensure completion of the implementation process
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of CDK applications and their functionality
  • Maintain accurate records of interactions and forecast in Salesforce CRM
  • 75% travel in the field, including weekly overnight travel
  • Follow all CDK Global policies and procedures
  • Complete mandatory compliance tasks and acknowledgements
  • Meet or exceed performance expectations
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Valid Driver's License / travel documents (if applicable)

Required Job Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years automotive dealership experience (GM, Fixed Ops Director, Service Manager or Operations Manager)
  • Proven B2B sales success at Executive / C-suite level, especially in conquest sales
  • Experience using consultative solution selling to align client needs with a solution
  • Experience growing market share through conquest sales
  • Ability to negotiate and close major sales opportunities with executive-level clients
  • Advanced presentation skills and strong sales techniques
  • Excellent closing and negotiating skills
  • Ability to travel 75% or more with weekly overnight travel
  • Salary and Benefits

    Salary = $85,000 + Uncapped Commissions. Compensation packages are based on factors including skills, experience, certifications, and work location. The package may include an annual performance bonus, benefits and / or other incentive plans. We offer Medical, dental, and vision benefits in addition to :
