New Orleans, LA : Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a skilled Voice / Data Electrician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot low-voltage electrical systems, including voice, data, and network cabling. The ideal candidate will have experience working with structured cabling systems, electrical wiring, and telecommunications equipment.

Essential Duties :

  • Install, terminate, and test voice, data, and network cabling according to industry standards.
  • Pull, route, and secure cables in conduit, ceilings, walls, or raised floors.
  • Troubleshoot and repair low-voltage systems, including network, phone, and security systems.
  • Read and interpret electrical and network schematics, blueprints, and diagrams.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and electrical codes.
  • Collaborate with team members, contractors, and clients to complete projects on schedule.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of installations, repairs, and testing results.

Requirements / Skills :

  • Proven experience in voice / data cabling, low-voltage electrical systems, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with network standards (Cat5e, Cat6, fiber optics) and relevant tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.

    • Physical Requirements :

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to climb ladders and work in confined or elevated spaces.
  • Capable of standing, bending, or kneeling for extended periods.
