What You’ll Do

As a Substitute Teacher in San Antonio, you’ll :

Bring energy and structure to the classroom while following prepared lesson plans

Create a welcoming, respectful, and engaging environment for all students

Encourage participation, curiosity, and collaboration among learners

Supervise students throughout the day — during instruction, transitions, lunch, and recess

Maintain attendance, report updates to school staff, and uphold school expectations

For long-term assignments, design and deliver lessons aligned with school curriculum

Your Schedule

Availability : Monday–Friday

Full Day : 7 : 30 AM – 4 : 00 PM

Half Day : 7 : 30 AM – 12 : 00 PM or 11 : 30 AM – 4 : 00 PM

What You Bring

Education : Minimum of 60 college credit hours or an Associate’s Degree (required)

Preferred : Bachelor’s Degree or Texas teaching certification

Experience : At least 1 year of classroom or childcare experience

Skills : Clear communication, confidence in leading a classroom, and strong organization

Traits : Dependable, adaptable, and passionate about helping students succeed
