Join a dedicated team providing direct community-based mental health and applied behavior analysis services to children and adults facing significant emotional and social challenges. This role focuses on delivering evidence-based interventions in home, school, or community settings to enhance clients' emotional well-being and overall functioning while supporting them in the least restrictive environments.
Essential Functions
- Deliver skill training aligned with target goals using evidence-based practices, with outcomes measured by qualified mental health professionals or BCBA / Autism Specialists.
- Follow treatment plans and interventions as directed by BCBA / Autism Specialists.
- Participate regularly in supervision meetings and ongoing training.
- Provide intensive, interactive mental health and behavioral services using a strengths-based, skill-building approach.
- Collaborate with families and treatment teams to develop and maintain client-centered treatment plans.
- Support clients and families in understanding symptoms and exploring solutions.
- Facilitate coordination of mental and physical healthcare services, ensuring effective communication among clients, providers, families, and community partners.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
Required : Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field; OR Associate's degree plus 2+ years of experience educating and teaching clients about self-care and daily living skills; OR equivalent combination of education and experience totaling 4+ years.Preferred : Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, or Special Education with specialized training in human development and family dynamics.Preferred : 3-5 years of professional experience in mental health or related services.Licenses and Certifications
Completion of CPST Case Management online training, KHS online training, and passing background checks including KBI, child and adult abuse registries, and motor vehicle screening.Completion of state-required Adult Mental Health Case Management training within 60 days of employment.Completion of Intensive Individual Support training within 6 months of hire.Valid driver's license, insurance, and reliable vehicle required.Skills and Attributes
