Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, design, and delivery of complex civil infrastructure and land development projects for both private and public-sector clients.
- Manage budgets, schedules, subconsultants, and design staff to ensure on-time and on-budget project execution.
- Prepare engineering reports, construction documents, cost estimates, and technical specifications for roadway, drainage, water, wastewater, and grading projects.
- Serve as a technical resource and mentor for EITs and early-career PEs; review and seal engineering plans within your discipline.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary partners including survey, geotechnical, environmental, and utility subconsultants.
- Interface with reviewing agencies such as TXDOT, TCEQ, FEMA, USACE, and municipal entities to secure approvals and resolve design challenges.
- Support client relationships and business development efforts through quality work, responsiveness, and creative problem solving.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university (Master’s preferred).Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in Texas (required).7+ years of progressive civil design experience in land development, transportation, or municipal projects.Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and familiarity with hydrology / hydraulics (H&H) design.Strong understanding of construction materials, submittal reviews, and QA / QC processes.Ability to lead and manage multiple concurrent projects, mentor junior staff, and interact effectively with clients and agencies.Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Why Join Us?
