Candidates must have 3+ years of recent Emergency Department experience.

Description :

Data Collection : Unit Information.

Emergency Department overview :

The unit has 11 beds and 28 staff members.

Staffing includes :

• Day Shift : 1 charge, 1 AM RN, 1 RN 10a-10p, 1 PCT
• Night Shift : 1 charge, 1 PM RN, 1 RN 1p-1a, 1 PCT

Patient ratios are 1 : 2-3.

Equipment used includes Phillips monitors, HillRom beds, Omnicell, GE EKG machine, Lifepak 20e defibrillator, Lucas device, and Verathon bladder scanner.

The Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system used is Meditech Expanse.

Typical procedures performed on this unit include :

Candidates with previous charge role experience will be given preference.

Weekends are scheduled every other weekend with no on-call requirements.
