  • Weekly Estimated Pay : $2540-$2610\n
  • Facility Type : Acute Care Hospital, Level I Trauma Center\n
  • Contract Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 09 / 15 / 2025 – End : 12 / 15 / 2025)\n
  • Shift : 3x12-hour day shifts (06 : 30 – 19 : 00)\n
  • Hours per Week : 36\n
  • Weekend Requirement : 2-3 weekends per contract\n
  • On-call : Required as needed\n
  • Charting System : Cerner\n
  • Scrub Color : Provided\n
  • Parking : Free with permit\n

    • \n\nRad Tech Job Requirements\n \n

  • Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a CT Technologist or Radiologic Technologist in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting\n
  • Active Illinois state license (must be in hand at submission)\n
  • Required certifications : ACLS, BLS, ARRT, RCIS (AHA or Red Cross only)\n
  • Experience with Cerner charting system\n
  • Proficiency in cardiac cath lab procedures and sterile technique\n
  • Ability to interpret dysrhythmias and recognize life-threatening arrhythmias\n
  • Flu vaccine required (medical / religious exemptions accepted)\n
  • Ability to float within hospital or to affiliate hospitals as needed\n
  • Competency in middle and older adult patient care\n

    • \n\nCT | Rad Tech Responsibilities\n \n

  • Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab procedures, including cardiac stent placement, implant closure device, IABP placement / removal, left / right heart catheterizations, PCI, PTCA, and rotablader athrectomy\n
  • Set up equipment and maintain sterile field for procedures\n
  • Interpret and respond to cardiac dysrhythmias\n
  • Apply isolation precautions and infection control protocols\n
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes\n
  • Document procedures and patient care accurately in Cerner\n
  • Participate in on-call rotation and work scheduled weekends as required\n
