A law firm seeks a full-time Family Law Attorney to join its office in Liberty, Missouri. The ideal candidate will demonstrate compassion and empathy for clients experiencing family conflict, possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, and have the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Duties

  • Work directly with clients to address their legal needs.
  • Prepare pleadings and legal documents efficiently.
  • Conduct investigations through discovery and other means.
  • Communicate clearly with clients, courts, and opposing counsel.
  • Help achieve fair, appropriate outcomes for clients and their families.
  • Manage case deadlines and documentation efficiently.

Requirements

  • Licensed to practice law in Missouri and Kansas and in good standing.
  • At least one year of family law experience.

  • Licensed to practice law in Missouri and Kansas.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent organization and legal writing skills.
