Network Support Specialiat

E.M. Tharp Inc. DBA as Golden State Peterbilt is looking for a Team Member who loves working with and helping people but who also loves working with technology. The ideal candidate can be based in Porterville or Bakersfield. You must possess excellent communication skills and work well in a team. You will be supporting multiple users in-person and remotely while working on technology projects and providing quality user support.

Demonstrated in-person end user support experience working with both technical and non-technical users.

Demonstrated expertise with supporting, installing, troubleshooting, maintaining :

Microsoft Office 365

Windows Server 2012 / 2016 / 2019 / 2022

iPhones, Android

Virtualization (Hyper-V and VMWare)

Intune

Ubiquiti (Or other Network Backbones)

Watchguard (or other Firewalls)

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Excellent problem-solving skills (and enjoy doing it too!)

Sense of humor (really, you need it in this line of work)

Attention to detail.

Ability to document.

Ability to work independently and proactively.

2+ years of IT support.

2+ years of network support.

Be able squat, crawl, climb and lift up to 50 lbs.

Have a driver's license and reliable transportation.

Desirable Qualifications :

Previous MSP / IT experience

Bachelor's degree

Any IT certifications.

Scripting and / or automation expertise (why do it manually if you can have the computer do it for you?)

VoIP experience

Must pass background to include credit report review and physical and drug screen.

Job Type : Full-time

Pay : $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
