Overview
In this position, the Thermal Systems team is seeking an individual to become a member of the Air Handling Subsystem (AHSS) team. This role will be responsible for the CAE / CFD analysis of the components of the AHSS during the product development process, optimizing the system responsible for delivering interior airflow to Ford Motor Company customers. These components include vehicle ductwork, registers, cowl intake, extraction path and HVAC unit. The AHSS development process includes running various CAE / CFD analyses and bench testing, interpreting data and communicating it across a broad range of functional teams, such as the Design Studio, Body Interior & Exterior, Thermal Systems, Program Teams and Vehicle Architecture.

This position is a range of salary grades 6-8.

This position is hybrid. Candidates who are in commuting distance to a Ford hub location may be required to be onsite four or more days per week.
