A company is looking for a Bookkeeper to oversee day-to-day financial operations and ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger entries, accounts payable / receivable, and bank reconciliations
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards
Oversee payroll processing, employee reimbursements, and related tax filings
Qualifications
CPA certification preferred (active or inactive license accepted, depending on jurisdiction)
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
5+ years of bookkeeping and accounting experience, preferably in relevant industries
Strong understanding of GAAP, tax compliance, and financial reporting standards
Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite) and Excel
