Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opening for a full-time Early Childhood Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is available at a K-12 school located in Grand Island, NE. This full-semester contract position runs from August 1, 2025, through May 23, 2026, and focuses on providing specialized early childhood speech therapy services within the school setting.

Key responsibilities include :

  • Conducting assessments and evaluations of speech and language abilities in children from early childhood through grade 12
  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to each students needs
  • Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student communication goals
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with state and federal guidelines
  • Participating in team meetings and contributing to the development of school-wide speech and language programs

Preferred qualifications and experience :

  • Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Experience working in an educational setting, preferably with early childhood and K-12 populations
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with students, families, and school staff
  • Knowledge of assessment tools and evidence-based therapy techniques appropriate for speech and language disorders in children
