  • Assignment Type : CVOR Travel RN Contract\n
  • Location : Charleston, SC 29425 (South Carolina nursing jobs)\n
  • Facility : Level I Trauma Center, Teaching Hospital, Magnet-designated Facility\n
  • Start Date : October 27, 2025\n
  • End Date : January 26, 2026\n
  • Duration : 13 weeks\n
  • Shift : 3x12-hour day shifts (6 : 30am – 7 : 00pm), Monday–Friday, 36 hours / week\n
  • On-Call : 5–8 calls per month, including weekends and possible holiday call\n
  • Estimated Weekly Pay : $1990–$2130\n
  • Patient Population : Adult cardiovascular and vascular surgery patients\n
  • Charting : EPIC electronic health record (EHR) system\n
  • Parking : Onsite garage parking available ($20 registration fee for permit)\n

    • \n\nCVOR RN Qualifications\n \n

  • Minimum 2 years of recent Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) RN experience, including scrubbing and circulating complex vascular cases\n
  • Active South Carolina or multi-state Registered Nurse license (must be in hand at contract start)\n
  • BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA required)\n
  • Radiation badge required (provided by agency)\n
  • Experience in community hospital setting required; Level I / II Trauma and LTAC experience preferred\n
  • Familiarity with EPIC charting system preferred\n
  • Flu vaccine required (medical / religious exemptions accepted)\n
  • First-time travel nurses not preferred\n

    • \n\nCVOR Nurse Responsibilities\n \n

  • Scrub and circulate for complex cardiovascular and vascular surgical procedures, including Endovascular, TEVAR, FEVAR, AAA, EVAR, Thrombectomy, Amputation, Carotid, AV Fistula, and more\n
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (IV, Respiratory, Radiology, Pharmacy, Rapid Response)\n
  • Maintain a safe, sterile environment in the operating room\n
  • Participate in on-call rotation, including weekends and holidays as scheduled\n
  • Accurately document patient care using EPIC EHR\n
  • Comply with hospital policies, including emergency response protocols during hurricane season (June–November)\n
  • Deliver compassionate, high-quality care to adult surgical patients\n
