Special Education Teacher (LBS1) | Illinois Opportunity

Our organization is partnering with an IL district that offers a small, structured learning environment where students receive specialized support.

Clarifi Staffing is hiring a Special Education Teacher for a full-time, school-year position in Illinois. This role supports students in a self-contained program focused on social-emotional learning and behavior regulation. You’ll implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), provide direct instruction in academics and emotional regulation, and collaborate with staff and families to ensure student success.

In this role, you will teach and support students within a self-contained setting, providing direct instruction in academic content as well as emotional regulation and coping strategies. You will implement and monitor Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) for all students, ensuring individualized support that fosters personal growth. Creating a safe, structured, and encouraging classroom environment will be a key focus, while collaboration with related service providers, paraprofessionals, and families will help ensure each student receives the guidance and resources needed to succeed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Previous experience in special education or a related field.
• Must hold a valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with an LBS1 endorsement.
