Job Summary :
This is a Tax Specialist I position in the General Tax Administration Program, Taxpayer Services Process, Tax Information Section. The incumbent provides guidance on policy and procedures regarding laws, collection activities and accounting principles from complex tax related inquiries to both internal and external customers. The incumbent also researches tax issues and laws and examines taxpayer accounts for compliance using the System for Unified Taxation (SUNTAX). Additionally, the incumbent may provide training and assistance in several areas of taxation.

Salary : The hiring salary for this position generally will not exceed $3,881.92 monthly / $46,583.04 annually.
