Engineering Manager
We are seeking a technically strong and strategically minded Engineering Manager to lead a subsystem team focused on developing calibration techniques and algorithms for CT imaging systems. This role serves as both Functional Manager and Technical Director, guiding a team of approximately 10 engineers through the design, development, and productization of advanced calibration solutions. You will play a critical role in aligning technical execution with cross-functional priorities, balancing inputs from diverse stakeholders across Imaging Quality (IQ), Systems, Service, and Software teams, while maintaining a clear focus on delivering robust, scalable solutions.
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Team Leadership & Technical Direction
- Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary engineering team, fostering growth, collaboration, and technical excellence.
- Provide strategic and hands-on technical guidance in the development of CT system calibration techniques and algorithms.
- Stakeholder Alignment & Collaboration
- Act as a central point of coordination between IQ, Systems, Service, and Software teams to ensure calibration solutions meet clinical, operational, and technical requirements.
- Balance competing priorities and feedback from stakeholders to drive consensus and maintain project momentum.
- Facilitate clear communication and decision-making across functional boundaries.
- System-Level Understanding
- Maintain a deep understanding of the full CT imaging systemincluding tube, generator, collimator, and detectorand how it impacts image quality and calibration.
- Drive system-level thinking to ensure calibration techniques are robust, scalable, and aligned with product goals.
- Project Execution & Delivery
- Oversee project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.
- Champion engineering best practices, continuous improvement, and innovation.
Required Qualifications :
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related field.5+ years of experience in engineering roles, with 2+ years in a leadership capacity.Proven experience in algorithm development, preferably in medical imaging or similar domains.Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder engagement.Excellent communication and organizational skills.Desired Characteristics :
