Description :

This position maintains adequate respiratory and cardiac status of patients awakening from anesthesia.

The nurse will continually assess the patient and carry out physician orders while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Regular assessments of patients' needs will be conducted, providing skilled nursing services as prescribed by the physician's authorized plan of care and accepted standards of nursing practice.

Direct resident care will include medication administration, treatments, assistance with transfers, and responding to alarms.

The effectiveness of the treatment plan will be evaluated, and suggestions or participation in updating / revising the treatment plan will occur in collaboration with other team members.

Current information will be utilized to improve patient care.

Physician / provider orders will be processed, and physician-ordered care will be performed accurately, completely, and in a timely manner.

Follow-up regarding medication changes and order clarifications will also be part of the responsibilities.

Every weekend and holidays will be required.
